Effective date: April 28, 2026 — Last updated: April 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Pour Taproom Atlanta LLC (“Pour Taproom,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when guests interact with our automated direct-message system on Facebook and Instagram.
1. Who we are
Pour Taproom is a self-pour craft beer concept operating two locations in Atlanta, Georgia (Beltline at 661 Auburn Ave NE, Suite 230, and Midtown at 1180 Peachtree St NE). Pizza Dynamo is a separate business operating inside our Beltline location. We are reachable at:
- Email: atlanta@pourtaproom.com
- Owner: Ramon Ballester
- Address: 1180 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309
2. What our DM bot does
When you send a Direct Message to our Facebook Page (“Pour Taproom Atlanta”) or to one of our Instagram accounts (@pourtaproom_beltline, @pourtaproom_midtown), our automated assistant (“the bot”) may read your message and generate a reply on our behalf. The bot helps with:
- Answering common questions (hours, location, parking, dog policy)
- Qualifying inquiries about private events, group bookings, and buyouts
- Routing complaints or sensitive issues to a human staff member
- Notifying our team via internal alert when a guest is ready to book a private event
For complaints, sensitive issues, or anything outside the bot’s scope, a human staff member follows up.
3. What information we collect
When you message us, we receive and may store:
- Your message content (text)
- Your Facebook or Instagram user ID and display name (as provided by Meta)
- Timestamps of when messages were received and replied to
- Any details you voluntarily share in conversation (e.g., event date, headcount, contact email or phone)
We do not collect:
- Your password or login credentials
- Your friends list or social graph
- Your location beyond what you choose to share in conversation
- Payment information through DMs (all bookings finalize through our Tripleseat private-event system, separately)
4. How we use your information
We use the information you share to:
- Reply to your message
- Continue conversations across multiple messages (so you don’t have to repeat yourself)
- Qualify and route private-event inquiries to our team
- Maintain an internal record of bot replies for quality review
- Improve our automated responses over time
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling outside of the conversation context, or any purpose unrelated to your inquiry.
5. Who we share it with
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram): Your messages travel through Meta’s platform infrastructure under their own privacy terms.
- Anthropic: The bot uses Anthropic’s Claude AI to draft replies. Message content is sent to Anthropic for the duration needed to generate a response. Anthropic does not use this content to train models. See https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
- Make.com: Our automation runs on Make.com‘s platform. Make holds message content transiently while routing it to processing modules. See https://www.make.com/en/privacy-notice.
- Google: Conversation logs are stored in a Google Sheet within Pour Taproom’s Google Workspace. Access is restricted to Pour Taproom staff.
- Twilio: Internal staff alerts about qualified leads are delivered via Twilio’s WhatsApp Business API. The alert contains the conversation summary but not your full message history.
We do not sell your information to third parties.
6. How long we keep it
- Conversation state: kept for the active conversation plus 90 days of inactivity, then automatically purged.
- Audit log of bot replies: kept for 12 months for quality and compliance review.
- Qualified-lead records that convert into private-event bookings: kept per our standard customer records policy (typically 7 years for tax and liability purposes).
7. Your rights
You may at any time:
- Ask us what information we hold about your conversations — email atlanta@pourtaproom.com.
- Ask us to delete your conversation history — email atlanta@pourtaproom.com with the subject “Delete my data” and the Facebook or Instagram handle you messaged us from. We process deletion requests within 30 days.
- Block our Page or Instagram account through Meta’s standard tools, which immediately stops the bot from messaging you.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, correct, and limit use of sensitive information. Contact atlanta@pourtaproom.com to exercise these rights.
8. Children
Our Facebook and Instagram accounts are not directed to anyone under 21 (the legal U.S. drinking age). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If we learn we have inadvertently received a message from a child under 13, we will delete the associated records.
9. Security
We protect your information through industry-standard practices including encrypted transit (TLS) for all message delivery, encrypted storage at rest in Google Workspace and Make.com, and limited access controls within our team. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted at the URL where this policy lives, with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of our DM channels after changes means you accept the updated policy.
